MiniWik V.1.0

Release Date: Spring 2011
Abstract: In a world of growing technology, there is a need for some sort of mobile application to aid people in the mission field both overseas and in the United States. Presently, there is a need for a mobile application on Android and iPhone that has a searchable database of contacts and ministry tools available to staff and interns with Campus Crusade for Christ to make their ministry more effective. At this time, staff persons with Campus Crusade for Christ are requesting a mobile application that has access to the database of contacts, as well as access to maps of the address of the contact. Our project will combine the need for access to this database with other ministry resources that may be needed during ministry, such as a translator, Bible, and other published resources for various target groups and nations.

County Health Database System

Release Date (Version 1):Summer 2009
Release Date (Version 2):Fall 2010
Release Date (Version 3):Summer 2011
Abstract:The County Health Database System is a new, technological way of process WV-11 transactions. In the past, a long process of paper forms was needed - this was both slow, environmentally not sound, and produced many errors. Not to mention if there was ever a fire, all that valuable data would be lost. For years, the Department of Health and Human Resources and the Division of Personnel kept their own personal database in Microsoft Access. This was only available to them. The first step in the electronic process was an electronic Excel form to replace the paper. This was received very well and we knew it was time for a bigger and better system. This is how the online version of the database was born. The online database allows the user to enter all of the information for a WV-11 via a secure webpage and track it through the approval process. Furthermore, the newest version of the system will allow users to submit documentation as well. Also, it allows users to view the history of their agencies - something that would have NEVER been possible without an online system!
